Cathy-Jones-1.jpgTo say that my life has been common and boring would not be true. My life has been a series of adventures and disappointments, all of which I have appreciated and/or enjoyed. A crazy, zany journey through life and love. Don’t understand? Let me explain!

I was born in 1959 in Pensacola Florida. A Girl Scout, and tom boy, I have a passionate love of animals, especially horses. By 1977, I had cultivated this into a semi-professional riding career. I showed my horses and was paid to ride and show others horses as well. As a show jumper, and the number one rider in Hawaii as well as the Southeast, I was considered a serious contender for the 1980 summer Olympic Games. An injury in 1978, the result of a bad fall from my horse, ended that chance and for all intents and purposes my career in the show rings.

In 1977, a senior in high school, I moved to Hawaii to live with my aunt and uncle, he being a pilot in the Navy. I finished my senior year of high school in Hawaii. In 1977, and I met and married my first husband, who was in the Marines. We were married for 27 years and we had my only child, a son, Colin, in 1981. He loved horses as well and in 1994 we bought what would become, Triple T Farm. There we raised horses, dogs, cats, and the many other creatures that inhabited that area!

In 2004, my husband having taken ill and unable to work and I taking care of him, and being the family bread winner for 17 years, I decided that I needed a change. I filed for divorce and moved out. We were divorced, and due to those severe health issues, my ex-husband died in 2008.

Around that time (2004-2005), I found and contacted the man I had dated, and loved, in high school. He too was divorcing and we decided to see each other. When we met for the first time it was as though we had never been apart! And after living together for a year we were married in 2005.

Alan has taken me to many lands and countries, being a college professor and scientist, he travels extensively all over the world for speaking engagements and I have been at his side. In Asia, Europe, China and South America, it has been a true adventure full of love and fun!

At the same time through all these trials and adventures, I have gained a true understanding and appreciation for the human race. And especially, the man I married who loves me so much and treats me like his princess!
