A Review of Debt Management Credit Counseling Corporation

By Ashley Russell on March 1, 2011

Deerfield-Beach-(2).jpgDebt Management Credit Counseling Corporation (http://www.dmcccorp.org/) is an organization that works to inform people about financial topics. They are a non-profit company that helps with debt consolidation and credit counseling. They also help with debt management and other support for people who run into debt that they can no longer handle.

Debt Management Credit Counseling Corporation offers seminars and public information for those who will attend. This Financial Literacy Program integrates its ideas by going to high schools and colleges or offering them an online course. Then it gives them tests and reports back their scores. This can be a big awakening for many students who think that they know a lot about finances. It can also be the first, and possibly only, course that many students will attend about certain financial ideas, such as credit card use.

Along with this literacy program, the corporation offers seminars for communities in South Florida—even in Spanish. These seminars are given to reach out to people, no matter their age, to increase their knowledge about financial situations they may end up in and how all of the decisions that they make now will affect them in the long run.

This program also has two centers, one in West Palm Beach, Florida and one in Pompano Beach, Florida, which hold weekly classes. The former holds classes for adults on topics, such as budgeting, how to use a credit card, and identity theft. The latter holds classes of virtually the same topics for those who are in need.

Debt Management Credit Counseling Corporation’s online website also offers access to articles about different and important subjects dealing with financial situations that people fall into. This is just one of the many online sites that offer easy and free information for people who need to learn about things like debt consolidation and credit card debt.
Note: At press time, Debt Management Credit Counseling Corporation was rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau of South East Florida. You should confirm the rating of any organization prior to doing business with them.
